Public Works Director
Plainfield Township, Northampton County, is currently accepting applications for a full-time Public Works Director position.
The Public Works Director will be responsible for planning and directing the activities of the Road Department and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and township policies. Job description is available upon request.
This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. Qualified candidates must possess a PA-issued driver's license and CDL in good standing. Minimum qualifications include prior experience in public works, road maintenance, or related field, with supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Seasonal Employee
Plainfield Township, Northampton County, is currently accepting applications for a Seasonal Employee to temporarily join the Road Department at $25.00 per hour for the 2025/2026 Winter Season.
The duties of this hourly position will involve snow plowing and snow removal as well as other labor tasks associated with Road Department operations.
This position will run from approximately November 2025 to April 2026. Applicants are required to be available for snowstorms and other related emergencies on an on-call basis.
* Snow Plow experience and a CDL license is preferred but not required.
* Possession of a PA-issued driver’s license is mandatory.
